Sunny & Cool Friday, Moderating Temps for the Weekend


Tonight, rain ends early from NW to SE. Clearing, cool and breezy. Northwest breeze 10-20 MPH. Temps fall back into the mid to upper 40s. Happy Fall! Officially arrives just after 9 P.M.

Friday, feeling more like Halloween like temps. Lots of sun, but cool and breezy. High temps in the 50s. Breeze out of the Northwest will gust to 30 MPH. A High Surf Advisory remains in effect for 5-9 waves at the beach. High Surf caused by Hurricane Fiona passing well to our East.  Friday night, clear, still breezy and very cool. Low temps dip back into the upper 30s and low 40s.

Saturday, sunny, breezy and still cool. Low to mid 60s. Saturday, diminishing wind, clear and not as cool. Mid to upper 40s.

Sunday, sunny and nice. Low 70s. Sunday night, a chance of showers. Upper 50s.

Monday, a chance of showers. Low 70s. Monday night, a chance of showers. Mid to upper 50s.

Tuesday, partly sunny. Around 70°.

Wednesday and Thursday, mostly sunny. Mid-60s.

Tropical Update:

Hurricane Fiona still a category 4 hurricane. Sustained winds of 130 MPH, gusts to 160 MPH. Bermuda later tonight and tomorrow and then the Canadian Maritimes this weekend as a strong post tropical system. Also monitoring Tropical Storm Gaston near the Azores and Invest 98L near the South Windward Islands for potential development.
