Albuquerque police investigate fatal downtown shooting



Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a downtown shooting that left one dead at 1025 12th St. NW around 4:14 p.m., Monday.APD detectives say 37-year-old Frank Arnaudville and 56-year-old Carlos Romero had a confrontation that ended with Arnaudville shooting Romero. APD officers found Romero suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene. He was transported to a hospital and died, according to APD. Arnaudville was taken into custody. APD homicide unit is conducting the investigation.
