StormTracker8: Nice through Thanksgiving

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -Mild weather is on the way through Thanksgiving with rain on the way after that.

Tonight, will be clear over us with milder overnight lows in the lower 30s.

Sunshine and very nice weather are on the way for tomorrow.  Highs are going to warm up into the upper 50s and the lower 60s over us.

Tomorrow is the big travel day for the holiday, so the roads are going to be very crowded. Be sure to have some patience out there on the roads.

For travel, the good news is that we have no issues at all for anyone within a day’s drive of the area.

Coming back over the weekend, we are going to see deal with some rainfall.

Thanksgiving Day will be sunny in the morning and then turn partly cloudy in the afternoon.   We are going to have temperatures in the upper 30s for the Turkey Trots in the morning.   By the afternoon, you can expect to see clouds starting to move in as highs reach to around 60.

Friday, a weather system is going to move in during the afternoon with showers for us.

Over the weekend, we are going to be in for another round of showers on Saturday into Sunday.  Things should clear out for Sunday afternoon giving us some mild temperatures.

Next week, we are going to see a little bit of a cooling trend.   A bigger blast of cold weather is on the way to the area in about 10 days
